This deserves a much longer post, but I am already so far behind...

Visited our dear friends Nick and Libby and their new baby Clara, who is going to be Sadie's best friend. We already acquainted them well, as Clara slept on me and Sadie kicked her from the inside. Aside from those kicks, my bump makes the perfect baby shelf!

Isn't she precious? Jack was excited about the baby, especially about her tiny feet, but I think he was more excited about the cat. Oh well, he still has a few months to mature into the perfect big brother.

Meanwhile, I had forgotten completely how much work newborns are. I remembered them sleeping all the time. They totally don't! Or, they do some days, and other days can't quite get comfortable and just fuss no matter what you do, and oh geez, how are we going to pull off this toddler and newborn thing at the same time? I know lots of people do this, but how??
