Dressing up not for Halloween

I just found these photos on my iphone, taken actually before a couple weeks Halloween, but so appropriate for the holiday. Clearly the problem was that I was dressing my child up as the wrong thing! He didn't want to be a teddy bear, he wanted to be some kind of hippie superhero!

He's going to hate me someday for posting those, isn't he?  I promise I did not engineer this. We helped with the tying of the scarves, but wearing them was all their idea.

He was enjoying himself, he just refuses to be caught on film enjoying himself. He sees a camera and puts on his best Zoolander face. You have to catch him unawares to document the smile. Swinging is always good for that.

Jack has recently become enamored of flying dinos, and you may remember has always loved birds, and of course he enjoys watching planes too, so I think I'm starting to see a trend here, and it explains his passion for swings as well. Jack wants to fly.

That's probably what the cape was for, up above.
