The visit to the pediatrician started out not so bad. The doctor lady was very impressed with me. She said she had never seen a baby so "strong" and "mighty". She said I was of average weight... FOR A FIVE-MONTH OLD. Look out world! Look out all babies under five-months of age! I am a force to be reckoned with! But I am no match for the needle lady. This has got to be the worst thing that has ever happened to me. So far.
To top it all off, it was thunder-storming all day, and mommy hasn't bought me any kind of rain protection for my stroller, and she took me out to her office during the worst of it. When will these parents get their act together?
It's okay though. I had a nice cry tonight, which tired me out, and little bit of cherry-flavored children's Tylenol should send me right off to slumberland.

I love the new look of the blog! Nice pictures! I can't believe what a big boy Jack is! I thought I was the only one that had hulks, but it turns out that you can produce them too. I'm hoping a girl will be a bit more petite, but I'm not holding my breath. I'm sorry to hear you had such a crummy birthday, but you could tell your mommy to schedule your office visits on a day other than your actual birthday - not to worry Mommy, I did the same thing to my boys until Chris reminded me that I could go any other day just as well as the actual birthday, thereby making the birthday a whole lot better. The next shots won't hurt as much - and you can give Tylenol before you go to the office - we call that preloading (or pre-gaming - whichever you like). Be liberal with the Tylenol on the vaccine days! :)
LOL! You are very funny, Jack! And still completely adorable!!! Hope your 3-month old birthday will be a bit more fun! :o)
