We went to Pike Place market, where Jack ogled fish and rode the famous Pike Place pig.
We went to the space needle and, instead of actually going up atop the space needle, hung out at a big fountain at the base of it all afternoon. You wouldn't think a fountain could entertain a toddler for several hours, but that's because you've never met this fountain.
Ava and I stayed dry looking for helicopters while the boys all dared the fountain to get them wet.
And now I'm running out of steam, so that will bring our Chaplin family summer vacation 2010 to a close. I hope it's the beginning of many, many trips together.

I enjoyed the Kramer take on the Alaska vacation, and the pictures as well -- many that were new to me or taken by you instead of Ali. Thanks for the interesting travelog; I completely forgot to keep any notes and between you and Alison I can reconstruct what Steve and I did now.
Enjoyed reading your blog and looking at your pictures. What a great time for you all to be together and cruising! What memories for the kids, even tho Jack is a little young. Wonderful trip.
