My first plane flight

Jack here. I don't write enough. There's never enough time in a baby's life. But I just wanted to report that I had my first plane flight, actually my first two plane flights, and my first almost-getting-stranded-in-Chicago (which takes some people years to accomplish), and everything went just wonderfully. I made friends everywhere I went, and confirmed that I am considered just as cute in Chicago and Minneapolis as I am in California. Among my many fans was my mommy's dear friend Beany, who has been dying to meet me for the past 6 months and finally got her chance on our brief layover at Midway Airport. At least, it was supposed to be brief, but we had some plane troubles and mommy and daddy have promised me it's all direct flights for us from here on out. They also promised that if we ever do get stuck with a layover again they will not gate-check the carseat stroller all the way through to our final destination, thereby stranding at us whatever airport because we have no carseat for me. Speaking of almost getting stranded, I also got to watch my first thunderstorm. I like the midwest. It's pretty all right.
