The things in our fridge

- 1% milk

- whole milk

- cream

- sour cream (2 cartons)

- buttermilk

- yogurt

- more yogurt

- tres leches cake, emphasis on the leches

- a failed attempt at making dulce de leche to go in the tres leches cake, which turned out more like hard caramel

- a failed attempt at making ricotta, which still tastes pretty good but in no way resembles cheese

- assorted cheeses that do resemble cheese because I did not make them

- several jars of whey left over from the failed ricotta project

- bread pudding, to use up some of the whey

- tapioca, to use up more of the whey, which does not look or taste like tapioca when you make it with whey but instead is more reminiscent of flan

and last but not least...

- breastmilk

I don't think there's anything in our fridge right now that isn't some manifestation of dairy. This is an excellent time to not be vegan in beckyland.

Wow, that's impressive. And you certainly do have some things in there that I have never had - like whey - unless you count the stuff that comes with cottage cheese, but I'll bet if we look at sheer volume of things in the fridge, I could beat you. I have more food in that thing right now than Grandma probably does in hers. And I have nobody to eat it all. I wish my boys would eat real food. I'm drowning in vegetables! By the way, the word verification wants me to type in COLON. Funny considering I'm talking about food.
