Bathtime!

Jack had his first bath tonight. His first real bath, not a sponge bath (in case you were thinking, ew, they have not bathed that child yet?). And he did not fuss or cry at all. What a good little guy! I would have gotten more photos of the momentous event if my mother had not yelled at me "Rebecca! Put down the camera and get over here and bathe your baby!" So blame her if you were hoping to see more of our sudsy Jack. But I do thank her for showing me how. It's a little daunting to turn your most precious thing in the world into a squirmy, slippery little thing that you're terrified of dropping. Nice to have a grandma around to offer some capable hands to help out.
